Amos ‘Rise Above’ Breaks Top 20 on Christian Indie Chart – Southern Christian Rock Makes Buzz on Airwaves

Amos “Rise Above”, released on the Faith, Hope and Love Label to rock radio on 15 Feb., broke the top 20 of Radioactive Journal’s Christian indie chart last week.

Radioactive Journal is a new chart that follows both reporting and non-reporting Christian stations.

“Rise Above” encourages Christ followers to be ’salt and light.’ It’s a song of encouragement.

“Matthew 5:13 – 16 encourages Christ followers to to ‘let your light shine before men, that may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.’”

“The song is centered on this scripture,” the band said.

“We are so very thankful Jesus has blessed us with this song and other like minded people are enjoying it.”

“It was a wonderful surprise when we heard ‘Rise Above’ is catching on. The news was definatley an answer to our prayers. We hope that Jesus uses the song for His glory,” they said.

“It has continuously been a crowd favorite,” said the label.

“Rise Above” is the band’s first single from their upcoming sophomore CD, Faith Knows No Fear, that features 11 edgy, retro southern Christian rock songs. The CD is scheduled for national retail push in Spring 2006.

I know of Christian Dating Sites, and I believe I have heard of a few black dating sites, but solely those two together, I don’t know. Try eHarmony, I’m not sure but I believe that you can get those specifics in a potential mate.
