New Xulon Title Digs Deeper Than Archeologists for Truth
Maitland, FL (PRWEB) March 17, 2012
The pages of G.M. Matheny’s new book,‘GREAT STONES’ Jeremiah 43:9-10 ($ 15.99, paperback, 978-1-61904-705-1; $ 25.99, hardcover, 978-1-61904-706-8; $ 7.99, e-book, 978-1-61904-707-5), show that it is clear that God’s word is accurate and if readers choose to believe it, they can discover things that an archaeologist could not. The author describes the book as being ‘a fun adventure, a true story!’
“This is a true story of biblical archaeology with mysteries, surprises, intrigue and ironies. The story is told as the events unfolded and progresses from having only a few pieces of the puzzle to making the find,” states the author. “Along the way, I learned some things that showed the error of certain ideas that I had held at the beginning. I therefore have noted my mistakes and the errors of others, and given what was right when I found it later.”
G.M. Matheny was a Navy diver on the nuclear submarine U.S.S. Halibut and received the Legion of Merit for a special operation. He is a graduate of Pacific Coast Baptist Bible College in 1979. He and his wife Nancy came to Romania in 1991 with their six children, where they serve as missionaries. Matheny authored the book, EXODUS, about the locations of the Exodus route, sea crossing and God’s mountain.

Dates Announced for 20th Annual Crawfish Music Festival – Top Acts for Popular Gulf Coast Festival Include The Band Perry and Thompson Square
Biloxi, MS (PRWEB) March 20, 2012
More than 32 bands and 25,000 pounds of crawfish take center stage on the grounds of the Mississippi Coast Coliseum for the 20th Annual Crawfish Music Festival on April 19-22 and April 26-29. Top country artists Thompson Square, The Band Perry, Jake Owen and Montgomery Gentry join rock, R&B and Cajun/Zydeco entertainers during the eight-day Gulf Coast festival that combines the best in music, crawfish and other foods, carnival rides and the highly contested Crawfish Cook-Off with a prize purse of $ 4,000.
Adult admission to the Gulf Coast event is just $ 12 ($ 15 on Saturdays after 5:00 p.m.) and children age 6 and under are free. Thursday nights, gate admission is free for all ages. Carnival rides are “all you can ride” for $ 20 on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. Concerts are included in the general admission fee, but reserved VIP concert seating tickets ($ 30; $ 35 for Saturdays) are on sale now at all Ticketmaster outlets, online at Ticketmaster.com or by charge-by-phone at 800-745-3000.
“Twenty years ago, this was a small fundraising event put on by the local Elks Lodge #606,” says Bill Holmes, executive director of the Mississippi Coast Coliseum & Convention Center. “When they discontinued the festival, we moved it here to the Coliseum grounds in 1993 with the goal of growing it into a major regional event. In 2006, the spring after Hurricane Katrina hit, we found ourselves at a crossroads – the facility and grounds had been heavily damaged, people on the Mississippi Gulf Coast had lost everything, and we didn’t know if we should have this event. But we knew we needed something to celebrate the heart of what the Mississippi Coast and this Gulf region is about,” adds Holmes. “So that is the year we decided to expand it to eight days. Our headline act was Charlie Daniels, and 12,000 people came through our gates.”
Now averaging 50,000 people in attendance, the Mississippi Coast Coliseum Crawfish Music Festival is one of the largest festivals on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Visitors are encouraged to take part of this extremely affordable, safe and festive family event during their Gulf Coast vacation.
“The Crawfish Music Festival will happen rain or shine,” says Holmes. “While great weather is preferred so people can enjoy being outside under the live oak trees with the beach and the waters of the Gulf of Mexico across the street, we are fully prepared to move everything inside the Coliseum if needed.”
This year’s festival is sponsored in part by the Gulf Coast Regional Tourism Partnership through a marketing grant funded by BP America. Other sponsors include Coca-Cola, Budweiser/Rex Distributing, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Hard Rock Café, Mississippi Department of Marine Resources and Advanced Disposal.
Additional festivals and events happening on the Mississippi Gulf Coast in April include:
4th Annual Southern Miss Jazz & Blues Festival – Saturday, April 7
5th Annual C&R’s Crawfish Cook-Off – Saturday, April 14
Walter Anderson Museum of Art Gala – Saturday, April 14

New Xulon Title Claims the Tribulation Period Is at Hand
New Xulon Title Claims the Tribulation Period Is at Hand
Maitland, FL (PRWEB) January 05, 2012
Anyone who has ever tried to put together a thousand-piece puzzle has probably learned that it helps to have the cover of the box near. By doing so, time and frustration can be reduced, allowing for the puzzle solver to accomplish the task more efficiently. According to author Clifford A. Grace, life on earth is no different. He says that the millions of pieces of the puzzle that make up everybody’s lives must be dealt with similarly and put into a proper perspective. Within the pages of his new Xulon Press book, Let There Be Light ($ 15.99, 978-1-61379-727-3), he hopes to share with readers the complete picture of God and his belief that humanity is currently in the tribulation period that Jesus and the prophets predicted.
“My book explains exactly why everything is headed toward a worldwide collapse of nations financially and the events that will take place that have been foreordained by God in a time-oriented sequence,” the author says. “It is an overview of the Bible from beginning to end, concerning what has taken place in the past, what is taking place now, and what will take place in the future.”
This work is the culmination of 39 years of researching Scripture. At age 19, as an atheist, Clifford Grace was given a vision from the Lord that changed the course of his life. He then became a Christian and, at age 33, was called into a Bible teaching ministry. He left his prosperous contracting and development business and answered the call in 1972. In 1977, he founded His Word, Inc., a non-denominational Bible teaching ministry that teaches in homes, churches, television programs, Bible camps, and conferences in the United States and Canada. Understanding the Word of God and teaching it is the purpose of his life.

If Christians really followed the Bible and mathematical dating of events…?
Question by Ally: If Christians really followed the Bible and mathematical dating of events…?
why do they still celebrate holidays when they do? It seems like the calendar for Christian holidays such as Christmas would have been changed by now since the calculations that actually put the birth of Jesus sometime in spring. How do Christians justify this to themselves?
And does this leak over to other things? Superstitions and practices that date back prior to Christianity and were incorporated in local cultures, for example?

Because it really doesnt matter what day it actually happened, at least not bad enough to change the date of christmas.

Christian Dating Service Washington DC Speed Dating Event
I’ve worked at several dating services over the years and currently I work for Christian Dating Service Washington DC. It’s a great place to work because they hold amazing speed dating events for Christian singles. The other services I worked for didn’t hold speed dating events.
I found out right off the bat that many Christians that take their faith seriously thought speed dating was for the “non-serious Christians,” but that is so not the case. My job at this Christian dating service is to help promote each event, find a location, and be there to oversee each event with a very professional staff.
Christian Dating Service Washington DC hold speed dating events for all different age groups, so men in their 20s aren’t speed dating with women in their 50s. The events are held and chic, upscale lounges or restaurants and begin after work hours to allow for plenty of time to get there. Most all locations where the events are held are Metro accessible. I am always available if there are any questions or concerns along the way.
I suggest that everyone check-in 20 minutes early and head over to the bar for some appetizers and drinks. During that time you’ll have a chance to meet and speak with some of your future dates. This seems to relax people and that is very important. When the Christian Dating Services event begins everyone is given an index card to take notes about the man or women that interested him or her. I suggest that you come prepared with questions that are important to you as a Christian. For example, what church do they belong to? Do they attend a bible study? Not everyone that attends these events is strict about their faith, they just want to date and marry within it.
After Christian Dating Service Washington DC is over everyone can head back over to the bar for more drinks and socializing, or to talk further with someone that sparked your interest. Some people decide to stay and have dinner either alone as a couple or in a big group. Even if you don’t click with anyone it’s still a great way to make friends and perhaps even set up a man or woman that is there with a single friend of yours. You never know what will happen at these events but as people are leaving they most always tell me they had a great time.

Do most christian radio stations advertise christian events for free?
Question by cute: Do most christian radio stations advertise christian events for free?
I want to advertise a christian speed dating event. Are christian radio stations good for advertising these types of events.
Best answer:
Answer by Piggiepants
Most radio stations will have a community calendar type thing where they advertise free or charitable events at no cost as a public service.
If you’re not a charity, and you will be charging for your event, it’s unlikely anyplace will advertise for you for free, since it is not a ‘public service.”
All you can do is call up and ask.under what conditions do they consider running free advertisements.
What do you think? Answer below!
