Question by jennbeavers18: Christian premarital counseling for long distant couple.?
I am recently engaged to my fiance. He lives in Scotland, UK (where we met and have been dating) After being engaged I had to go back to the United States due to visa restrictions. I am not able to go back until a few months before the wedding. I am really passionate about wanting to somehow go through premarital counseling with my Fiance. Even more so it NEEDS to be a Christian counseling session.

Does anyone have any ideas on what my Fiance and I could do to work around this? I have searched online, and there are a lot of regular premarital counseling online suggestions but nothing to do with being Christian. I have seen a few books which I would be open to. But you can never be too sure what is good and what is not.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Scottish Chamber Orchestra Celebrates Ayr 800 With World Premiere

The next event in Ayr 800, the year-long festival celebrating the town of Ayr’s 800 years as a Royal Burgh, is a concert by the Scottish Chamber Orchestra in the Town Hall at 7.30pm on Wednesday 9 February.

One highlight of the concert will be the world premiere of international trombone virtuoso Christian Lindberg’s debut as a composer. The first public performance of his Trumpet Concerto, a work commissioned by the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, features soloist Ole Edvard Antonsen.

Together with The City of Edinburgh Council, the SCO has appointed a Composer Laureate for Schools, Rory Boyle, who is currently involved in a three-year project creating three new pieces for school pupils to perform alongside members of the Orchestra. This and other projects encourage the participation and creativity of individuals, no matter how skilled, and endeavour to build relationships within the communities served by the Orchestra’s concert seasons and tours.
